This Privacy Policy explains what data DateNook collects and how it is handled.
The Short Version
The calculators run entirely in your browser. The dates you enter are never sent to our servers. We do not currently use analytics or display advertising.
Date Calculator Inputs
DateNook’s calculators process your inputs locally in your browser on your own device. The dates you type or select are not transmitted to our servers, stored in our databases, or shared with anyone. Once you close the page, there is nothing to delete because we never received your data.
Contact Form Data
If you submit the contact form, the information you provide (such as your name, email address, and message) is emailed to us and may be stored as configured in the form’s settings, so we can read and respond to your message. We use this information only to handle your inquiry. We do not sell it or use it for marketing.
Hosting and Server Logs
DateNook is hosted on Hostinger. Like most web hosts, Hostinger processes standard server data to operate the site, such as IP addresses, browser types, and access logs. This data is processed by the host under its own policies and is used for security and operational purposes.
Cookies
- Our calculators set no first-party tracking cookies. The tools work without cookies at all.
- WordPress and the site’s theme may set functional cookies. For example, if you interact with the site’s administrative or commenting features, WordPress may use cookies to keep the site working properly.
Analytics
DateNook does not currently use any analytics tools. If that changes, this policy will be updated.
Advertising
DateNook does not currently display any advertising.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties, except as described above (hosting infrastructure processing server data, and contact form submissions handled through the form’s configured delivery).
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal data, such as the right to access, correct, or delete it. To make a request about data we hold from the contact form, reach us via our Contact page.
