DateNook is a small, free website that answers one everyday question: how much time sits between two dates?
What DateNook Is
DateNook provides simple, browser-based calculators for common date questions. There is no account to create, nothing to install, and nothing to pay for. You open a page, pick two dates, and get your answer.
Why It Exists
Counting days between dates sounds trivial until you try it by hand. Month lengths differ, leap years add a day, and a quick mental count is easy to get wrong by one. DateNook exists to remove that friction: a fast, correct answer for a calculation people need far more often than they expect, from trip planning to deadline tracking to countdowns.
What the Tools Provide
- Days Between Two Dates: elapsed days, inclusive counts, and a breakdown into full weeks with remaining days.
- Weeks Between Two Dates: full weeks plus leftover days between two dates, with the total day count shown alongside.
Every calculation runs locally in your browser, so the dates you enter never leave your device.
How DateNook Is Built
Simplicity, accuracy, and usability guide every decision on this site. The tools follow standard Gregorian calendar arithmetic, including leap-year rules, and are designed to work in any modern browser on mobile and desktop. If a calculation ever looks wrong to you, we want to hear about it. Use the Contact page to let us know.
